Bring on the poop

with Suzanne’s alpaca farm connections we have an unlimited supply of alpaca poop. Judy at Pondview Farm Alpacas has kindly allowed us socially distant access to her poop pile. This is load one. Load two on the way.

Alpacas are very neat poopers. The females all go in one pile, the males in a line. I don’t know why there is a difference. Regardless, it makes for easier cleaning of their areas.

The poop we are using is a year old, so nicely aged. There is a lot of straw in it adding to the organic material content.
