Self isolating during the pandemic

Well, with all the planning we did to get to this farm, a pandemic was never on the radar. It means finding a job is that much more difficult, Suzanne’s income has gone down to zero and the bank account balance is fading faster than expected.

That being said, we are getting things done around the farm. The hugelkultur beds are being build; waiting now for some dry weather so we can pick up alpaca poop to add before a top up with triple mix soil. The seeds are planted and starting to spout in containers on our dining room table. The chicken coop is mostly built; it is also waiting for some warmer weather to finish up. And we have organized to pick up an old dog run from Harlem Stonegate B&B down the road to use as our chicken run.
